Pumpkin……?

Will one pumpkin plant by its self bear fruit? Or does there need to be two for polination?
Both answers are very helpful, thank you very much.

One is fine, all you need are bees to pollinate it. No bees? Pollinate it yourself, it’s easy.

Pumpkins are monoecious, having both male and female flowers

From this site:

Both male and female blossoms would have to be open at the same time for pollination.
